Programme profile
This highly applied programme will give you a good foundation in the economic analysis and management of the value chains of agricultural and horticultural products. In addition to business know-how and management competence, you will learn about important sociological aspects of agribusiness. Further modules will give you an understanding of the supply chain processes in the agricultural and horticultural sectors.You will also look at sustainability, product traceability and risk management.
Students have a 3-month practical work experience period at the end of the second year and a semester abroad or international internship in the third year.
Graduates of this programme are likely to seize opportunities in a number of national or international organisations, including: consulting companies, the nutrition and food industry; agricultural product manufacturers [animal feeds, fertilizers etc] and national & regional authorities in the sector.
